About Owen

Owen is a registered psychologist with over 3 years experience working in youth and adult mental health and has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. Owen's approach is supportive and non-judgmental with a focus on building strong therapeutic relationships with patients based on trust.

Owen works with a range of psychological issues including anxiety, stress, depression, anger, borderline and other personality issues/traits, trauma and relationship difficulties. Owen has experience working with:

  • Older adults

  • Adolescents over 16 years

Owen has a particular interest in working with young people struggling with trauma, personality, mood and anxiety related issues.

Owen’s therapeutic style is an evidence-based approach with a psychodynamic and interpersonal theoretical emphasis. Each individual therapy adapts specifically to the needs of the patient in order to deepen insight into themselves and their difficulties, develop self-acceptance and confidence, and resolve obstacles to emotional growth.
